Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield

I used to come out here with my husband three times a week to walk the trails. Beautiful place and great long, yet managable hikes.

I went up the back side from Pigeon Hill located on Burnt Hickory. Great hike, short hike. Neat rocks. I live in Kennesaw, so I spend a bit of time there hiking.

Interesting historical place to visit. It’s very peaceful there, which is odd considering it’s history I guess.

I take my dogs there for a nice short hike. Beautiful view from the top on a clear day. Always nice in the fall.

Worth visiting if you like history, birding, wildflowers, or just hiking.
