I love North Adams

I went to college here and couldn’t imagine having gone anywhere else. This place and the college were both amazing and I love them!

There’s a surpising amount of stuff to do here. Best in Summer or early Fall. Great Hiking. Mass Moca is always fun (try to go when they’re having a dance at night – it’s fun to dance in a big wierd art museum). You can drive ten minutes to Williamstown and catch a show at the Theater Festival in the Summer (try to catch the free theater show—it’s always good). Definitely climb Mount Greylock—it’s doable for people who aren’t major-league hikers, and there’s a nice lodge and view at the top. There’s a good book store on Main Street called Papayri books. I always stay at my parent’s house, so I don’t have much guidance hotel-wise. If you don’t have the dinero for Porches, there are lots of B&Bs or the Holiday Inn. Also, people say that Jay’s Inn is nice.
