I used to live here. It is a small, quaint little town right on Long Island Sound. Beaches include Rocky Neck State Park, Crescent Beach, McCook’s Beach and Black Point. It’s a simple place to stroll along Main Street and get some seafood.

Even though I’ve lived in Connecticut six years I still don’t understand how Connecticut has towns within towns. Are they “villages” or “regions”? Growing up in the Midwest it makes absolutely no sense to me. Other than the confusion, it was a cute…place.

Adrianna's Boutique by bchai

I bought my wedding gown from this boutique years ago, so I’m not sure if she’s still there. It brings back memories because I used to drive down to Niantic for my fittings. Driving anywhere in New England is beautiful and scenic, especially in the fall.

Born and raised... by Amy

In niantic, Ct. Pretty chill beach town, not too many people around and goes on lock down past 10 p.m. Pretty trees though…most def worth visiting in the fall.
