Bimini Island

My family and I anchored our boat in a bay and giant baracuda decided to reside under the boat. We would look and wouldn’t see him but as soon as we jumped in the water he would come out and “play”. My brother and I went for a dive and their baracuda stalked us… I felt a bite on my leg screamed, dropped my reg, turned around and there was my brother holding a clam shelf and laughing his head off.

I took a mechanica jobs on a SCUBA dive sailboat call black breads cruises. I couldn’t hack it as a mechanic but I would of loved to vaccation there.

Absolutely beautiful

with my dad. We’d fly “Chops Airline” and stayed in this old motel over the water with a bongo band playing in the club downstaris. Spent many summer day there playing with the kids of the islands. Of course this was a loooooong time ago in the 70’s. Would love to go back as an adult!

Bimini is great if you want to get away from the rest of touristy Bahamas. Don’t count of fancy restaurants/stores. Bring your flip-flop and your suntan lotion. This is as relax of a place as you can get.

I am downsizing my lists and buckling down. This goal was not realistic.

Bimini would be the place. Diving and the night life is great! Small island, not overly ‘commercialized’ like the big island, and the locals are great! Check out Krista & Brown for diving and other trips. Lunch on the beach is great! It doesn’t get fresher that right out of the ocean.
