Gallipoli aka: Gelibolu

only a kiwi or an aussie would have a burning desirey to visit this place. Hats off to the young lives that were lost under the name off ANZAC.

One day I will travel to Gallipoli and visit the grave of my great uncle, Albert Stanley Scott who was killed in action on the 28th April 1915, aged 17. I wish to let him know that his family still remember and are grateful for his great sacrifice.

Did the trek down to Eccabat, camped out, saw the dawn service at ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine (Aussie memorial), Chanuk Bair (Kiwi memorial).

It was bloody awesome! If you go, dont go on an organised tour, too many busses, you never get to see jack…
