"An All American City" by kristin67

Tupelo, Mississippi is also known as the “all american city,” though we are not really sure why? But it is a great little city to live or visit. I grew up in Tupelo and have now moved away, but my heart is still there! It is a wonderful place for a family. The downtown area is a lot of fun and is starting to look really neat. If you are visiting here are a few places you don’t want to miss:

1. Finney’s, a lunchtime diner

2. Yummy Yogurt, a great spot for dessert

3. Malones, the best catfish house

4. The flea market, the 2nd weekend of each month

5. Ballard Park, for a nice walk and to feed the ducks

6. Main Attraction, cute store downtown

7. Elvis Presley Birthplace, ok not so much this one but I am sure this is one of the reasons you are visiting

8. Barnes Crossing Mall, because pretty much everyone in Tupelo and the surrounding areas is always there.

9. Vanelli’s, for a nice romantic italian dinner

10. West Jackson Street Baptist Church, this is a great church who loves to have tupelo visitors! (church starts at 1030)

Moving... by Dviussmile

Planning to move to Tupelo in a couple months to FINALLY be with my po-dunk sweetheart. Sigh …a bit frightened however as to how the “South” will respond to my Yankee-isms.
