Not even the locals who have survived Redding heat were prepared for that day!!! However, there are some wonderful things to enjoy in Redding, if you have people to enjoy them with. The night life is quiet, but the atmospheres are welcoming. It is truly the town for those who love Nature. Lakes, mountains, and trails to hike through. And just a short drive away we have the fabulous slopes of Mount Shasta. What more can you ask for, on those hot days. Come look for yourself! over 5 years agoUntitled by tuffghostinvinciblei can’t say it was worth visiting cause we immediately hitch hiked to whiskeytown and then walked with our packs all the way down hill to the camping areas and got stuck for three days because, as mentioned by someone else it’s fucking HOT in the summer. 110 degrees in the shade. we eventually escaped, smelling like hippies. over 6 years agoUntitled by CassaundraMy ex-boyfriend’s hometown!
