Manta

Not really a place for tourists. We got off the ship that we work on at around 2pm. We went to the little shopping mall…and beelined it for KFC. No gravy here, but they do accept US$.
We went down to the beach on the hunt for DVD’s. Picked up American Pie 5, and the Da Vinci Code. $2 each. Told us they were in English. (you have to believe 11 year old kids….don’t you). Anyway AP5 was some low grade mexican porn and the Da Vinci Code was the national geographic special both in Spanish or French. Not a scrap of English.
We then made it back to the ship. Not too impressed with Manta, but satisfied a need for junk food as we had 3 sea days ahead.
