Tybee Lighthouse

There’s just something so romantic and magical about lighthouses. The importance and the history surrounding them and of course the breathtaking views.

When I went here it was kind of dark and cloudy and the sky was a beautiful backdrop for photos!

There is something very magical about Savannah, GA, and the Island is absolutely breathtaking. Everytime I am there, I never want to leave. I really can’t explain it, I feel so at peace and content there. Definitely worth the visit.

I had the most horrific attack of vertigo on top of this sucker… Wow that sucked.

I guess if we were to do that 10000 steps thing, we’d be already well past 2*178=200+140+16=356 steps in all, one for each day of the year. Not counting the steps from the vehicle and back, and then to the beach where we enjoyed a very pleasant September breeze, the surf,sand and view.

This is “Georgia’s oldest and tallest lighthouse, (and) it’s still guiding ships to Savannah!”
