I randomly saw a bunch of people on the tennis courts this Friday. It turned out that they were having a massive game of dodgeball. I joined in and had a ton of fun. There must have been about 70 of us playing. Apparently they do this every Tuesday and Friday.

great kid/adult park by Daniel Spils

Alyssa and I took my brother, nephew and neice here this past Sunday. The nephew (3 years old) went twice and loved the playground both times. It’s a great park for many reasons — but it’s good for adults and kids. The play area for kids and the walking paths, grass and fountain for adults. Actually, the kids love all those features, too.

This is such a nice park. The area really needed it.

Worked for Landscape Architects that designed this park by Mahalie

This is a really great park, and my favorite project to date by a firm I did web design and marketing for, The Berger Partnership.

It’s got a lot of great details and an historic, ‘grand central park’ kind of feel.

The water feature is something else, a collaboration with the LA’s, Parks and San Francisco artist Doug Hollis. The texture blocks are cool, I enjoy it more when the pool is not actually full.

Definately a great place to stroll if you happen to be in Capitol Hill. Here’s the Seattle Parks Department Page
