Worth visiting!
A tip I have about this place
To reserve a camp spot, go to http://www.reserveamerica.com. When they say they’re full, you can drive up and ask if there’s a spot available because someone didn’t show up even though they had reservations.
They have sites foe tent, trailer, or RV camping. The RV sites are somewhat small- get used to being close to your neighbors! Still, there’s a beach only a few steps away and the town of Carpinteria is a bike ride away, so you’re not stuck in that little confined area if you don’t want to be (and why would you?!).

Getting ready
We picked up food for the trip last night. I’m going to roast a chicken tonight and we’ll have leftovers the first night camping. The weather looks like it’s going to hold. Looking forward to being beach dwellers for a few days.

I have reservations
I’m going camping here in December, weather permitting. Have heard very good things about it, and it’s close to Ventura and Santa Barbara, both of which I very much enjoy.
