Worms

I’ve spent 14 years in Worms, from about age 7 to 21, so the experience was quite formative, I would say. I recommend the place for people with children who want a medium size city with a few bigger ones nearby for your cultural needs. The train connections seem to be getting better, too… The city has a very historical feel and some nice pedestrian zones. Lots of green, too. No, I am not nostalgic ;-)

Once as an Army brat and the other as a military contractor. Love it both times. Lots of historical sites, mainly the Dom (lived across the street from it), known for its connection to Martin Luther. Plus, several cool clubs that might or might not exist anymore…. Been 10 years.
