West Village

I went to Sal’s comedy hole and it was great. Intimate place with really edgy comedy with less tourists than the other places. cool bars and restaurants here too.

Go to the Hudson River, furthest West part of the Island. Lovely walkway, a pier off Christopher St. that reaches half way to Jersey. Walk out on pier and can see the Statue of Liberty while sitting on benches or grass. The walk down to Battery Park is easy-going with people watching. A mini-vacation for tired city dwellers and nice rest for tourists.
