A personal favourite museum. by Waynesworld
One of my favourite museums to visit ever since I was a child. Even the architecture of the historic, castle-like building is fascinating. Each floor has two exhibit areas. One of the newest was the insect gallery, where they had live insects for viewing. Pretty cool for the young children. I really liked the mammal gallery, which showed panoramic hypothetical scenes of remote areas of Canada, with the taxidermist stuffed mammal placed artfully in the scene. It’s difficult to describe here, one has to go and see it.
