...and i LOVE it.

I just finished first year and it was AWESOME.

great people, great profs, great buildings…the architecture is amazing. And the landscape architecture is equally incredible.

Though some classrooms are a bit crowded.

And here are some misconceptions about UofT (St.George campus):

1.) Profs don’t talk to students. (they DO!!!)

2.) Profs are extra mean (nope)

3.) The campus is so big you won’t meet any friends. (you can meet people quite easily if you choose to)

4.) The campus is so big, it’ll never feel like “home”. (for the first two weeks, you’ll get lost. but later it’ll be home)

5.) I will become a snob after graduating from this university. (that really depends on the type of person you are)

anyway, for the “prospective” students out there: keep up with your readings!!! there will be so much to do in univiersity and if you don’t keep up, then your GPA will be like mine. ahhh ><

Epic libraries. They haven’t been particularly friendly with me, though; I always feel a little bit criminal being a York student on their campus. I went to see an amazing show about Ken Saro-Wiwa there not long ago, and I was kind of stunned to see how glamorous the whole affair was. If York is a sweatshirt, U of T is a Louis Vuitton bag.
