Love the lighthouse, one of my favourite memories is walking back from the lighthouse & getting up close to a deer & her fawn (who promptly ran away) over 6 years agomagical by JuliaRWhen I was a kid, we lived in Fort Lee Virginia. We kept a small sailboat on the James River and occasionally sailed down the river and out into The Bay. Once, while we were sailing there, some dolphins came by the boat and sailed with us in the bow wave. It was magical. Even though we lived there for three years, we never made it to Chincoteague or Assateague to see the horses. There is much to see all around the Bay and I would like to wander slowly around it, perhaps even on a bicycle. over 6 years ago |
