My brother and I hiked in from the rim at night by the light of the full moon and that was a surreal experience. Then to wake up and see the color of the water and the formation of the rock around the falls, WOW! Really beautiful. The hiking along the river is exciting (sometimes with chains to hold onto), and the native people and culture are great as well.
