You won’t be coming here for vacation. In fact, you might not even come here if you live nearby. It’s almost hidden.
And that’s the beauty. There is a small pocket of natural area tossed in between the developments of the Chicago ‘burbs. It’s low key and just right for a few minutes of outside time.
The trails do tend to flood a bit when it rains, so getting around can be muddy. But what were you expecting? It is a marsh after all.
