DeKalb has a better nightlife on Friday nights than this place, even if it is mostly drunk college kids. Nothing exciting. over 5 years agoTravelling between Chicago and St. Louis by redrobin1181Joliet is always the place we say we will stop and get gas/food after leaving Chicago by car. Amtrak makes a stop here and it’s always the one I forget about on the way back to Chicago from St. Louis. It kills me every time. I think I’m almost home and then wait no — we have to stop at Joliet first. It frustrates me, but I do not blame Joliet.
