Joliet

Came down from Chicago for a performance on a Friday night last fall. I felt like I was in a ghost town. DeKalb has a better nightlife on Friday nights than this place, even if it is mostly drunk college kids. Next time I’ll just fork out extra cash to go to the Chicago shows.

History is here but..where isn’t there.

Trust me. I have lived her my whole life. Nothing exciting.

Joliet is always the place we say we will stop and get gas/food after leaving Chicago by car.

Amtrak makes a stop here and it’s always the one I forget about on the way back to Chicago from St. Louis. It kills me every time. I think I’m almost home and then wait no—we have to stop at Joliet first. It frustrates me, but I do not blame Joliet. It is a nice little place.
