London Stansted Airport aka: STN

Determine if it’s worth the cost before deciding if it’s a better option than one of the closer airports. We got GREAT fares from Ryan Air but it cost quite a bit to catch a ride from the hotel over to Stansted…

I chose this airport because out of all the airports I’ve been to (Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Cologne, Majorca and Stansted) I am emotionally attached to this one. It has been my destination for a few times when I was still living in Germany coming over to visit my bby.

I love the atmosphere on airports, people waiting for loved ones, for planes or their luggage.

Airports make me feel like a real traveller, ‘important’ even. ;) It’s an awesome place!

All the cheap flights depart from this airport- not sure why but they do.

if you want to travel in Europe on the cheap. Sure some flights leave from Luton but nothing compared to from here. Easyjet and Ryanair heaven, a few other small airliens fly from here and they are all low-cost.

The terminal is actually quite nice even though things are quite chaotic at times…
