Lewiston

I was born here and lived on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation.

A mile square, Lewiston Village where I grew up is chock full of history from early explorer days through the revolutionalry war and the war of 1812.

Only a handfull of miles north of the overdone commercialism of Niagara Falls, Lewiston provides the visitor a slower pace and a glimpse into an authentic village combining the rich history of the Niagara Frontier with a modern main street, excellent schools and a close-knit community.

Lewiston is within a half-mile of Canada on the slower moving Niagara river as it wends its way down to Lake Ontario well below the falls. It’s one of those spots you won’t want to miss.
