Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge And Foundation

My family stayed overnight in their “Treehouse” and loved the experience.

I’ve been envolved with animal protection for more than 15 years now (that’s over half my lifetime). Since coming to the States, I’ve been warned about “Scamtuaries” and developed a few criteria to make a judgement of my own… well, the animals at Turpentine Creek seemed very well treated and happy. The volunteers are incredible and well informed. We stayed at their B&B and loved it. It wasn’t a busy day and we could enjoy visiting all the animals, who seemed to be relaxed and curious about us.
