Write an entry Entries about this placeA Quaint little town by MaxBlack Mountain is a bit touristy, but that’s ok. Seems fairly progressive. Was surprised to see a UU church. As half the cashiers I spoke w. were from out of town, I sometimes had trouble finding non-touristy basics like the laundromat and a place to buy clothing. But I managed. I recommend eating at Cafe Bijan downtown. Service is leisurely but fun and the food is pretty good for the price. over 5 years agoUntitled by mojomeaganlived there for two years .very cute town, would definetly live there again. over 5 years agohmmmm by bubbleiyablack mountain is just a small town where almost everybody knows everybody. lol. just kidding! but this is the first place ive lived since my arrival from the philippines last April of 2005. im planning to move to another bigger city though. but if you wanna visit, go directly to the downtown, talk to the friendliest people and stay for a couple of days and relax. take pictures and take advantage of the wonderful view of the mountains. i might not love it here, but i like it in a certain way. :) over 6 years ago |
