Pompano Beach

and it’s not all that exciting, but if you’re looking for a beautiful fairly uncrowded beach (especially compared to the ones i’ve been to in europe) and a laid-back atmosphere, this is a good place to go.

The biggest billboard on the highway was advertising gastric bypass surgery. Women with leathery skin and manicured talon-shaped nails painted red wore Christmas sweaters and puffed on cigs. Everyone here moved from New York in the 70s. I wished I was back in Brooklyn.

Pretty nice. Not a ‘young person town’ but still enough to keep the average person from being bored. Besides, FTL and MIA are right around the corner.
