Laguna De Apoyo

This winter!!

I am dying to visit. I randomly found this place online, thought it looked familiar, realized that I was there when I was little and I want to return.

The Hotel Norome is an inexpensive (by American standards) but a bit rustic (again, by American standards) place on the lake.

So, when I went to the Laguna de Apoyo, I swam in the Laguna and then enjoyed a fish dinner from a small restaurant built on the Laguna’s shore. When I eating my fish, I realized that they had teeth in them.
They had caught the fish from the laguna… I told everyone that it wasn’t a good idea to swim after eating, and didn’t swim for the next hours that we stayed there. :) yikes!
