Port Aransas

I try to go to Port A every year. I take the ferry and get out of the car to watch the water carry the ferry away from all my troubles left on the other side.

Every trip has to have at least one dinner at Spaghetti Works and Seafood. I enjoy the soup & salad bar and the variety of fish plates – but I usually get Richard’s fish. The furnishings could use a revamp though – with the prices of the meal they certainly earn enough to get better chairs and tables.

We have a family vacation here every year.

Worth visiting though. Especially for Texas. Definitely pay to park on the beach. Buy the pass. Better than parking at the free part. I do like driving on the beach though it is not good ofr the shorelline. You can do it in Daytona too, but at least here you only have to pay to park, you can drive on it for free. Lots of cute local shops and eateries.

We camped out on Mustang Island for about 10 days, went fishing, checked out all of the local attractions, and got tattooed. What more could you ask for. Awesome place to visit. I would definately go back.

hot, but amazing nonetheless. i went here over the summer and it was the best beach i’ve ever been to. you can get a permit and drive right onto the beach-the water isn’t too hot/cold-the waves are good for surfers and waders-the sand isn’t annoying-the water is clear. just, all around wonderful.
