Voodoo Doughnut

Totally worth it! The doughnuts were delicious. But when I went it was sooo crowded, there were people lined up outside :P

I dropped by Voodoo Doughnut on a Tuesday afternoon (my first visit).

There was no wait, a friendly girl working behind the counter, and plenty of Maple Bacon doughnuts available for purchase.

What’s not to like?

My wife and I got married at this fine establishment! Between the delicious food, the charming owners, and the fact that I’m basically the luckiest fellow ever, I can’t possibly recommend this place more highly than I do. Go there as soon as possible – you will not be disappointed. We went to see Al Green afterwards, so that helped.

I saw this place on a travel channel show. Once I moved to Portland I set out to find it. My husband and I are addicted to the place. It’s a special treat to spend the morning at the Saturday market then walk to Voodoo doughnuts for a a voodoo dozen. Don’t bother with the coffee, walk down the street and go to Stumptown for that!

gross. unique concept, i’ll give them that, but employees are assholes and the customers are worse. the doughnuts taste better in your imagination, believe me.

Get the tang donut. You’ll thank me!

Swung by New Year’s Eve, but they were closed, I think. :(

I have some friends that live in the area. Besides, who doesn’t love a good doughnut (or dozen) now and then?

went there yesterday. i was looking forward to the bacon wrapped maple bar, but they were sold out for the day! darn! we managed to have a whole bunch of other artery-clogging goodness, though. next time i’m in portland, they better have the bacon maple bars. :)

Oh my god, that voodoo doughnut was the BEST doughnut I’ve ever had in my entire life. YUM!
