Seminyak

My friends and I would stay in Kuta every spring break or holidays, but spring break ‘07 was a bit different. We stayed in Seminyak, in our own villa with three big rooms, private pool, kitchen, living room, full-service for housekeeping, walking distance to the beach. 7 nights for US$1,000. Not bad huh?

If your have been to Bali your know there are a few different sides to it

• Kuta. It’s mad, busy, crowded and cheap
• Ubud and the country side. It’s beautiful , quieter, artistic and full of exquisite looking ride paddies
• Seminyak. It’s not far from Kuta, is quieter, much more laid back, a little more expensive, full of excellent villas and world class restaurants.
