Farmville

Last time I was here, we were auctioning grandma’s stuff off and sending her to a home. Not pleasant memories. I spent alot of my childhood summers in that house.

visited my friend while she attended there, i think its the smallest campus ive ever been to!

I’ve been here a year now, and it’s nice :) I don’t think I’d ever live here, but it’s a nice historical area, and the shopping is fantasic. You can get tons of furniture and stuff for ridiculously cheap. And the people are so nice! We have a Walmart, and we’re right by Hampden Sydney College. LU is currently transitioning to D-1. Great little college town!

Welcome to Farmville, a tiny town in the middle of Virginia. Home to Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney college, a few fast food restaurants, and a Wal-Mart! There’s a quaint downtown area with a few shops, including Green Front Furniture and Appomattox River Company. If you come to Farmville, be sure to check out the nearby Civil War sites, including Sailor’s Creek, Appomattox Court House, and many other sites around central Virginia.
