Love it and can’t wait to go back. Pictures don’t do it justice, though you can’t take a bad picture in Scotland on a sunny day. What an amazing place. Saving my money to go back…

What a lovely place

i spent the 3 weeks around the 2004-5 festive season staying in oban with friends. the weather was merciless and the people were the best. it snowed on christmas morning and hogmanay was unlike anything i’ve experienced.

I wished we had more than just an afternoon to see the place.

I went to Camusdarach Beach with two good friends many years ago on the Summer solstice. We saw the sunset over the Western Isles (Skye, Rum, Muck, and Egg) and full moon rise behind us. That evening will stay with me my whole life.
