Arvada

I grew up in a not so traditional family, we moved all over the U.S.,no we were not military, my dad had ants in his pants- so they tell us- they being my parents. When I was in 7th grade we moved to Arvada. Wow, I loved it , despite the high altitude giving me nose bleeds all the time, the climate was perfect, no mosqitoes in the summer, and every one was nice. I lived in Arvada until the day before I was to start my Junior year at Arvada High School, when my parents annouced that we would be starting another “adventure” and off to Minnesota I went. I have to say to this day that was the most tramatic thing that has ever happened to me. I was involved in a lot of things and had a lot of friends, 4 years in one place was the longest I had ever been some where. I have not been back to Arvada since I was 17 years old, and I dream atleast weekly of being able just to go back and remenise over the place that made me feel the happiest, the most secure and the most excepted.
