Battle Ground

I grew up in the great northwest… I can recall many a summer swimming in battleground lake… hiking around the lake… picnics… Oh, to be young again.

I grew up living in Dollar’s Corner – in the BIG Yellow Victorian house on the corner of 219th Street and 67th AVE.

I love Battle Ground. I live in Georgia now, but would love to live in that old house again. My dad did a whole lot of structural work to it, a new foundation etc. The people who bought it from us painted it that awful school bus yellow, but oh well…

BGHS 1990 Graduate

I lived there all my life until I turned 12 and I moved. I am 15 now and I still love every one down there everybody knows me and it’s just the place that I call home!

I have lived in Battle Ground for about 2 years. Hard to believe I moved here after living in the “Big city” of Portland, OR. It’s so quiet up here, such a nice place to live, although I often joke that we are 45 minutes from everything.
