Batavia

Not much to see or do though.

While I have not really spent much time in Batavia, it is forever burned in my mind as exit 48 on the Thruway. I passed it countless times commuting from Buffalo to Ithaca (and vice versa).

Exit 48 was an apparent demarcation line between weather zones; things could be perfectly clear driving west from Rochester, and then you hit Batavia and you suddenly enter a blizzard. Of course, the opposite would happen as well, but perhaps being in a blizzard was always constant.
