Bicol Region

Well,,my forefathers were from Bicol..i have been there thrice when i was still in hi-skul. It was really a nice place, the people were also very nice…I miss the place really especially the town where we stayed,(Danlog)it’s a little Brgy. in the town of San Jose Partido if i remembered it right..has anyone know this place too???pls give me sum news bout it^_...since my last visit there i’ve never come back cuz i just didn’t have time to do so..and my parents didn’t allow me to..I wonder how that place looks like now..Oh my gosh,,..I miss it so much!!!

It’s been five years then,Now im working and if ever i find time to visit again there, i’ll be very happy though!!!

This is the land of my forefathers. :) I love this place. All their rice fields, “ilogs”, food and people—absolutely nice.

Everyone knows about Mt. Mayon, and I agree that its a a must see. But in Bicol you will find Bacacay beach. Its actually a black sand beach. Now for us Filipinos, we don’t really give a premium for dark colored sand, but one night I saw a feature about several foreigners goind to Bicol specifically for that. But overall the whole place is nice. The markets, the food, I forgot what you call the squshed fried bannana, but its good. And what about the quality metal work that they do, abaca weaved bags and sweets. Oh well if you can brave the 8 hour car drive its worth going to. Oh I forgot you can take the plane.

The Legaspi airport must be most scenic one in the Philippines!
