Cashel

there really aren’t any words for this place. we were fortunate enough to visit on a crisp, clear day, when you could see the bright blue sky through the ceiling of the ruins, and miles of emerald green fields surrounding the castle… absolutely breathtaking.

Okay, as far as beautiful little cities that are on my list of must sees, it’s Cashel!!! I went thru it in a bus and it was beautiful!!!! The town is just amazing and well, beautiful!!!! A castle right in the middle of town!!!!

I’ve travelled through this city more than I’ve visited, but one time, before tourism hit Ireland, we camped at the foot of the Rock of Cashel. It’s a remarkable site.

Beautiful place, and be sure to visit the great Italian restaurant nearby. Seriously.

A great Castle on the Hill above town. Nice, interesting little town!

Anyone who visits Cashel never forgets the Rock of Cashel that looms proudly over the town. It’s well worth hiking around the rock and enjoying the views below.
