GREAT place to visit. Nice restaurants and beaches. Lots of places to learn to surf (go to Casa Oro and ask for Alfredo from Peru!), as well as good night life and GREAT food at the restaurants along the beach (Iguanas is great!). over 3 years agoUntitled by thetravellerThis is a two horse town – one is dead and the other is on life support over 4 years agoUntitled by kelliegirlI spent a month here living with a local family and it was an amazing experience. The town is so beautiful and the people are really nice and friendly. I definitely recommend visiting this town and going to Ricardo’s Bar on the beach. If you dont do anything else while you’re here, take the water taxi down the coast to one of the more remote beaches because they are BEAUTIFUL. but be careful walking around san juan del sur at night, there are many stories about theft. over 7 years ago |
