Write an entry Entries about this placeI Love Chinatown by vivacekateI try to get in to Chinatown at least every other month. It’s probably my favorite part of the Chicago area. Great dim sum at Phoenix Restaurant, pho noodle soup at The Noodle, and shopping in dozens of quirky shops throughout the neighborhood. I was able to purchase a beautiful ink painting from a local artist during a summer street fair and have taken many friends with me to explore the area together. 5 months agoSo much fun! by peaceforhumansChina Town is a favorite place for us locals because the food is amazing, the shops are fun and inexpensive… and the summer festival is so much fun! over 5 years agoUntitled by danimatianTonight I ate a fine meal in Chicago’s Chinatown for the first time. I think it was a Malaysian place called Penang. We ordered 3 dishes and an app and everything was excellent!! I was eating with a guy born in China in Chinatown so it’s just extra cool to me for some reason. over 6 years agoUntitled by Alyssa is a singular girlMaxim’s Bakery is only a few blocks from the Chinatown stop on the Red Line. Go to Maxim’s. It is cheap and delicious, two of my very favorite qualities in a food establishment.
