Watch out for the I-75 speed trap between exits 2-29 when you reach lowndes county, north or south. Valdosta is in lowndes county and they are known for their’ blue-light special.

This is the home of high school football. I don’t know if I would choose this as a vacation spot, but it is a really cute town with a smaller college embedded in it (Valdosta State University).
