Torremolinos

Camped north of town and hitchhiked into town for the day. Got filthy drunk, stumbled back to our tent, discovered my girlfriend had left a kilo of butter on top of my sleeping bag, which had melted in the midday heat and saturated my bag. For the rest of the summer I slept in a bag that smelled like movie popcorn gone very, very bad.

Was a few months ago.

It’s a lovely escape from the Spanish city. Nice and flat with many bars and restraunts, no matter what resort you’re in.

Calas San Miguel – however it’s spelt, my apologies – is recommended!
