Arapaho Basin Ski Resort

Definately a beautiful resort and great drive from Colorado Springs! I tried snowboarding, but even the bunny slopes got the best of me! haha. I left the big slopes to my experienced friends and stayed behind to play in the snow with a few more pals who also didn’t dare attempt them. It was so beautiful that it was worth the money just to sit around and watch!!

…and had some of my best runs at a-basin.

they aren’t very consistent in their grading of the runs, which makes it interestingly unpredictable

This is where i ski. There is no more of a classic ski are then my beloved A-Bay.

How I miss you!

Absolutely beautiful. It has lots of difficult terrain, and much of it is above treeline. It has a locals feel to it, and people camp out at “the beach” and drink beer, and bbq, and party after riding hard all day. It is a very special place.
