Hawaians [most of them] are very laid back and relaxed. They make you realized that they’re is no point in always rushing trhough life. Enjoy it. [Hang loose Hawaii. A very famous phrase over there.] I’ve never been in touch with nature as much as I did in Maui. I biked down a volcano, swam with sea turtles, saw many dolphins and whales, saw beautiful exotic flowers, walked through several tropical forests, visited many different little villages, saw waterfalls… and the list goes on. There are so many things to do in Maui! [By the way we are in the middle-class, we aren’t that rich. These activities are avaiable at affordable prices :)] I equally loved the hawaian mentality; they are very friendly and they are environmentely conscious. It is simply too bad that hawaians lost most of their culture and language. But while we stayed there I spoke a few of their native language, they really appreciated the effort. Here are two very useful sentences: Mahalo Nui Loa = Thank you very much. There! Hope all of you will get the chance to visit this BEAUTIFUL island. over 5 years agoSee all 19 entries |
