The nearest best thing if you can’t go from Mumbai to the North or the Himalayas is to visit Lonavala in the monsoons. Khandala and Lonavala are amazing hill stations and provide a great refreshing break from routine. Lonavala especially is also famous for its chikkis and fudges. Don’t miss out the dry fruit chikkis.
