Here is one tip. Pack your own lunch or go to the grocery store there, the over priced established restaurants are not the best. Between the unexplained bunnies hopping around outside our motel, mini-golfing for Jesus and the beautiful discomfort inherit to the Oregon Coast you can’t go wrong! over 4 years agoWorst Camping Trip Ever - Favourite Place on Earth by PrincessSchwickettyOK so Cannon beach was THEWORSTCAMPINGTRIPEVER. I went with some so-called friends who turned out to be jerks. Still friends with one of the 3 although, probably wouldn’t travel again with her. (The worst of the 3 was her bf who was an old friend of mine who treated her so badly in the end, but niether of us should have been surprised since he was such an ASS to me. As OW says: Beleive people when they show you who they are the first time.) However I fell in love with Cannon Beach. The water, the sand dunes, the sunsets. It’s heaven. Can’t wait to get back.
