Lompoc

Lompoc is the Flower Capitol of North America. At least it was 25 years ago when I was growing up. It’s one of the most beautiful places on the planet in the springtime.

And in the midst of all the California traffic and smog, Lompoc is off the beaten path. People don’t stop by on the way to or from somewhere unless they’re doing so on purpose or desperately lost. That helps keep the cost of things down. Quite nice. :)

It’s pretty to drive through.

Quaint small coastal community centrally located with easy access to lots of tourist attractions…...don’t miss the La Purisima Mission…or a day trip to Solvang.

Lompoc is one of the worst cities I’ve ever been to. I can’t imagine how anyone could live here and not commit suicide.

Lompoc is not appealing to many, but those of us who were born and raised in this rural/coastal paradise wouldn’t leave it for the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
