Apartheid Museum

You should plan to spend a three hours or so here. The depth of the museum and the exhibits demand it. And, if you’re as amazed by this country as I was, you’ll want to take the time to learn about the recent history. There isn’t anything really around the Museum that you can walk to afterwards, so your driver will drop you off and pick you up later.

It is a museum that tells the standard version of the apartheid history, from the black, Johannesburg point of view. It would help visitors to South Africa to make sense of the political and social setup that they experience.
