Mount Evans

I went hiking with my brother near Mt. Evans today, as a day hike out of Denver. I saw a lot of cyclists working their way up the mountain. I thought about my ability to do the same. The high elevation left me winded on our hike — I think cycling up there would be very difficult.

The view from the top is incredible. The road to the top is America’s highest paved automobile road. Summit Lake is absolutely beautiful.

At the top, we were just a few feet from mountain goats. So cool!
