They weren’t selling pastries :( Although most people see this place as a bar, we come in for coffee and a pastry every so often, so that was a bummer :S

Now under new ownership with an improved menu and great homey feel.

Though the menu is really limited (since the kitchen is not big enough to swing even a cat who didn’t mind the nasty thwacks on the head) the food is consistenly excellent, and the bartenders are talented. Try a lemondrop (best i’ve had ever) or a bartender’s margarita. The pasta dishes are great!
