A tip I have about this place  — 2 months ago

    Worth visiting!

Within 15 minutes of entering the museum I was bleeding in two places, had lost all my friends and didn’t care! It was like being a kid again, incredibly exhilarating.
If Madame Rose still reads palms out of the Tiny Little Trailer of Tragedy, she’ll amaze you with her gift.

    Worth visiting!

I have been to City Museum for many events from benifits to girl scout field trips. There is plenty of entertainment for people of all ages, but I do prefer to go with kids.

Field trip!  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

I went there for the first time this year on a reward trip. It was awesome. Like everyone said it’s a giant playground for adults and kids. If you go make sure to wear jeans and tennis shoes since you’ll be climbing and going down slides alot.

A review of this place: I loved this place!  — 1 year ago

It’s a playground for adults… Sure, there are kids all over the place, but so much of it is “grown up” sized. They even sell beer up on the second floor! They stay open late on Friday and Saturday nights, until 1 am I believe, which makes it a great place for a date or night out.

One of the very best places in the entire city! Very unique.

Why I recommend this place to visitors  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

So much fun. Kind of expensive to get in but the price varies depending on what day or what time you go so that’s something to look into. It’s like a huge playground for adults and kids. It’s a great way to get some exercise without even realizing you are.

A tip I have about this place  — 2 years ago

    Not worth it!

I worked here for some time, writing curriculum for visiting schools to use. Bob Cassily (creator/artist/founder) is a bona fide genius in art and construction, but a fool, a sleaze and a jerk in how he deals with people (especially those with whom he has actual relationships). Go to City Museum and love it (it is truly, truly, truly astounding), but know that it’s all there DESPITE the man who built it.
