I grew up in Watkins Glen by cyaneyed
Its one of the most quietly beautiful places on earth and I know, everyone says that about their home towns.. but its true. It’s wonderful, but in an understated way. On the surface its just another sleepy village with small town problems, but it has the gorge, it has the park, it has the lake, the hills and valley. It has elk now! It has wineries, but above all it has intelligent, caring people who are surprisingly worldly for a tiny upstate NY village. I love it.
