Cookeville

Well, Cookeville was a pretty boring place to grow up… but I guess the boredom inspired creativity. I am a writer (unpublished at press time), my best friend is a formerly syndicated cartoonist, another guy we know is a musician and a producer who has worked with lots of people you’ve heard of, another is a musician and an artist… that’s all I can think of right now…

Not a lot to do here…but it’s really beautiful.

I remember driving through Cookeville in the 70’s, when I was in college in Knoxville. I got stuck up there in a storm one night; the wind and rain was so bad I stopped at the Thunderbird Inn for the night.
